Reinabelle C. Reyes

Dr. Reinabelle C. Reyes is an Associate Professor of the National Institute of Physics (NIP) at the University of the Philippines Diliman. She is a faculty member of the Gravity, Astronomy, Nuclear & Particles Physics (GANAP) Laboratory.
She obtained her Ph.D. in Astrophysics from Princeton University in U.S.A., Diploma in High Energy Physics from Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics in Italy, and B.S. in Physics from Ateneo de Manila University, Summa Cum Laude. She was also a postdoctoral research fellow at the Kavli Institute of Cosmological Physics at The University of Chicago, U.S.A.
She received the Outstanding Young Scientist Award (Astrophysics) by the National Academy of Science and Technology in 2023. Her research interests include gravitational wave astronomy, extragalactic astrophysics, and cosmology.
