December 2022 update: iCSI is under physical renovation
The NIP-Intel Center for Science Innovation (NIP-iCSI) was established in November 2010 as a venue for conferences, exhibitions and research fairs. NIP–iCSI was built through funds from Intel, UP System and the Philippine Government and was envisioned as the home and metonym for sharing, networking and collaborative exchange of innovative ideas in the University and the region. The auditorium marker reads “Dedicated with deepest gratitude to Intel for their commitment to improving the future of science and of the University of the Philippines Diliman”.
NIP-iCSI is comprised of a big auditorium (iCSI-1A+1B, capacity: 400) and a small auditorium (iCSI-2, capacity: 200) that are equipped with audio-visual-internet amenities. NIP-iCSI is located at the 2/F Lecture Pavilion of the National Institute of Physics at the National Science Complex, UP Diliman, Quezon City. In addition to the auditoriums, NIP-iCSI also offers seminar rooms (capacities: 55 and 120) and spaces for scientific poster sessions, exhibits and social functions.
